Blacksmith, Enhancement.

For those who just started on the game, have you been in a situation where you are fighting monsters in a dungeon and all of a sudden there’s an information tell you that your weapon durability turned to 0 and your attack will be affected?

In Dragon Nest Sea, every weapons or equipment have different durability stats.

For example my Apocalypse Sword has 240/240 durability while my Beginner’s Sword has only 100/100 durability.

These icons will appear below your MP bar once the durability of your weapon hit a certain percentage. It is to warn you to go the shops like the Blacksmith to repair your weapons or equipments.

Once you are at the Blacksmith, go to the trade and then the “Purchase/Repair Item” option.

Click on “Repair” to specifically repair a certain item or “Repair All” to repair all your equipments at a price, nothing is free in the world of Lagendia. XD

Other than repairing equipments, another very important and a must do at the Blacksmith is Enhancement.

Enhancement will give you better stats at each level of enhancement and will help a lot during your dungeon raids.

All you have to do is click on the “Trade” and then “Enhance” option at the Blacksmith.

Once the enhancement level hits +7 and above, it will give a “blue” glow and +13 and above will give a “red” glow around your weapons. Cool right?!

Ok, let’s start. First choose the weapons or equipment you want to enhance.

*Note, not all weapons or equipment can be enhanced.

Provide the materials needed, like the picture above, you will need an Ordinary Ruby in order to enhance the weapon to level +2.

Most of the materials can be found in dungeons. The higher the rarity or the level of enhancement of the equipments, the more expensive and rare materials needed.

You will need to pay a small fee for enhancing the items too. The higher the enhancement level or the rarity, the more expensive it is.

FYI, once the enhancement level hits +6 and above, there’s a certain chance that the item will be destroyed which means you will lose the item forever! Wasting all the materials, money and the item! No pain no gain! :(

While enhancing, there will be chances that your item’s enhancement level will reduce instead of increasing.

There are also chances that your enhancement will fail and the materials destroyed. This way, your item enhancement level will remain the same.

Sad case :(

Your items chances of reducing of enhancement level, increasing of enhancing level and it being destroyed may vary. It may also happen in a pattern where the enhancement level keep increase, then decrease then increase again then break.

More materials needed too once it hits +6 and above.

Very sad that you keep on destroying your precious items while enhancing for +6 and above right, you can also opt to buy “Item Protection Magic Jelly from the Cash shop.

This way, your item won’t be destroyed anymore but your item enhancement level may still be reduced. The number of protection jelly also depends on your item’s enhancement level and rarity.

After trying 4 Allegro Swords, the highest enhancement level I got is +8 and then it broke. Now you can see how hard and rare it is for someone to enhance something beyond +8.

Below are the Enhancement Potentials for the equipments.

  • Helmet, Shirt, Pants, Gloves, Boots - HP +++ MP +++
  • Main and Secondary Weapons        - Att Pow +++ Mag Att +++

That’s all for today, tomorrow I shall continue on the Spiral and Vortex Codes. :D
