As promised, today’s post is on Spiral and Vortex Codes.

Spiral and Vortex Codes are used to enhance your equipment straight up to a certain enhancement level.

The names of the Codes tells you what enhancement level it’s for, the level of the equipment and the equipment type that it can be used on.

Example: a Code with the name of “+11 24 Level Vortex Code (Shoes)” means that it can enhance Level 24 Shoe equipment to +11.

To enhance your equipment with Spiral Codes, you must first ensure that the intended equipment’s enhancement level is exactly 1 less than the level of the Spiral Code.

Example: To use a “+11 24 Level Spiral Code (Shoes)”, you must ensure that your intended equipment to enhance is a Level 24 (or below) Shoe equipment that is already enhanced to +10. The Spiral Code will then enhance it up to +11.

Vortex codes on the other hand, can be used on items of any enhancement level below it’s own.

Example: A “+11 24 Level Vortex Code (Shoes)” can be used on a Level 24 (or below) Shoe equipment that is of +0 to +10 enhancement. When used, it’ll bring the equipment to +11 enhancement immediately.

Spiral and Vortex Codes are gotten from Common Pouches, which are sold by Blacksmith Berlin. So far, it’s only available in Saint Haven.

There are two types of Spiral or Vortex Codes Common Pouches, and they are only for level 24 equipment currently.

• General Common Pouch which can enhance your level 24 equipment to +7 ~ +10 enhancement level.
• High Grade Common Pouch which can enhance your level 24 equipment to +11~ +14 enhancement level.

*There are no Common Pouches for level 32 equipment in this game. There are common pouches for level 40 equipment in this game but they are currently unavailable.

You can only get Spiral and Vortex Codes by exchanging them with Comet Dusts for General Common Pouches, and Sun Sparks for High Grade Common Pouches.

Both the Sun Flame and the Comet Tail are very very rare items. They can be found in Abyss dungeons. As for Comet dusts and Sun Sparks, they can be found more often at the end of every Nest raid.

*You can exchange 10000 Comet Dusts with just 1 Comet Tail. 

The same goes for Sun Sparks. Just get 1 Sun Flame and you can get 10000 Sun Sparks. 

*1 Sun Flame/Comet Tail can be sold for 10000 GOLD. WOAH!!!

Ok, so now I have 1802 Sun Sparks and I want to exchange for a common pouch.

The types of Codes gotten from the pouch is of course entirely random.

I get a Vortex Code for my Shoes. (Yes, this is why I kept using it as an example above :P)

There are other types of codes for upper body, lower body, main weapon, secondary weapon, gloves, etc.

I decide to use my newly gotten code on my Challenger Boots.

And in just a second, my Challenger Boots are now enhanced to +11 Enhancement! Amazing!

There’s another way to achieve the Comet Dusts, Comet Tails, Sun Sparks or Sun Flame too.

By using this!!!

It can be found all over the world of Lagendia. It’s a Disassembler which will break down items you put in it to produce raw items with just a small fee.

Time to try it out myself.

I tried it with my +15 Elf Queen Corp Helmet.

Woot! I got 15 Comet Tails which can be exchanged to 150000 Comet Dusts!

In goes my +15 Challenger Sword.

1 Sun Flame and a comet dust! XD

My +15 Manticore Pants.

A whopping 80 Comet Tails and a comet dust!!!

*The results of the Disassembler is random, but generally the better the items you put in, the better the results.

So now that you guys know about the Spiral and Vortex Codes, I shall continue on with the Crafting segment on Saturday.
