Introduction to the Colosseum

Hey guys, the Colosseum has been up for a couple of months now, so most of you guys should be quite familiar with it. For today, I’m going to give an introduction to the Colosseum for the new players.
The Colosseum is the only place in the game where players can fight against other players, in short “PVP”. The Colosseum Channel will only appear when your character hits level 10.

Press “Esc” then go to “Select Channel” and you will see Colosseum there.

Once you are here, you can speak to the Colosseum Officer to enter the Colosseum.

Or you can enter straight away from the door itself. :)

You’ll be brought to the Lobby once you enter the Colosseum doors.
I’ll guide you through the lobby’s functions in point form:
- Yellow - Here you have the “Colosseum”, “1:1 Ladder” and “3:3 Ladder” tabs. I will delve further into the PVP Ladder system in a future post.
- Orange - These are the default PVP Rooms that are created by the system. It’s always there whenever you enter the PVP Lobby, so even if there no one else has created a room, you can still PVP there..
- Red - These are the rooms that players have created.
- Green - Clicking “Refresh” refreshes your list of rooms so that it’s up to date. “Quick Join” will select and join a random room for you.
- White - This is where you can make your own room by clicking on the “Create Game” button. You may also select “Join Room” if you wanted to join other player created rooms available that interest you.
- Blue - This is the PVP Lobby’s chat box. You may speak with other players in the Lobby here.
- Pink - Players, friends or guild mates that are also in the PVP Lobby will be displayed here.
- Cyan - This box contains your personal information like your PVP Ranking, results of all the matches you fought, medals collected, and your ladder points.
Creating Rooms.

When you click on “Create Rooms”, this menu will pop up. Here you key in details for your room, like the room name, room password, choice of map, and player level limit.

You can also choose the max number of players allowed in your room.
There are 4 different PVP modes currently available.
- Respawn - In this mode, the first team to hit the required number of points set when creating the game wins. Players from each team are pitted against one another. One point will be added to your enemy team if any one player from your team dies, and vice versa.

These are the choices number of points you can set before you start the game. The higher the points, the longer the game will be naturally. So choose wisely. :D
2. Rounds.

In this mode, the first team to win the number of rounds set wins the game.
3. Captain Mode
Refer to my previous post for more info: http://gmadriano.tumblr.com/post/13110537963/pvp-captain-mode
4. Free For All, in this mode, the player with the highest kills wins the game.

There are 6 maps to choose from right now.

These are some of the additional settings that you may edit for your PVP match.
- Late Join - Check this box if you would like other players to be able to join your game when it’s already in progress.
- Items- Check this if you want to allow recovery items such as meat etc that spawn randomly throughout the map which will recover HP or herbs which will recover MP.
- Show HP - If you enable this, every player’s HP/MP gauge will be displayed.
- Random - Enabling this will cause players to be assigned randomly to their teams.
- Compensation - With this enabled, players equipment will not have any effect in the match.
That’s all for the day. I’ll continue with the PVP map details along with Ladder Mode in a future post.
See ya! XD
