Colosseum Maps and Ladder Mode

Hey guys, I’m back to delve a little further into the Colosseum maps and the Ladder Mode for you guys.

Let’s start with the first map I see, Lost Temple.

In this map, both teams start out in a room as shown in the picture below. From here, both teams will either gather in the middle of the map to fight or head down the back alley, and ambush through the middle overhead bridge.

At times, you may encounter a scenario where your enemies will rush to your starting zone to prevent your team from leaving the room and killing your team on the spot.

Most of the time though, both teams usually end up fighting to their deaths in the middle of the map or on the bridge.

It seems that this is the most popular PVP map. This map has a capacity of up to 16 players. 8 players in each team. :)

Next up, Snowfield!

Ok, this has been the popular map choice for all the recent PVP Tournaments.

This map is good for competition because the centre of the map is big, vast and clear enough for all players to see and execute their skills.

Both teams will start out at the side of the map, the small alleys.

There is a high ground at one corner of the map too. Either one of the team usually will gather at the high ground to stall the battle or wait for the enemy to come attack them.

This map can contain up to 16 players too, same as Lost Temple

The third map, Valley of Mist.

To me, this map is the largest of all map.

Usually players will gather at the area above to fight. Either on the ground or on the bridge.

This map is rarely played because players will take longer time to travel as the map is quite big. 16 players max for this map too. :)

Next, Circular Arena.

This map is quite fun because you can literally fight everywhere. Usually in other map, players will run to a specific location on the map to fight but for this map, every location in the map is large enough for all players from both team to gather and fight.

It is very common to see players chasing one another in this map.

Same as the rest, 16 players max for this map. :)

Next, Arena of Death.

This map is the smallest among all. Very small circular map where players have no where to run.

Once you are spawned to this map, you will have no choice but to fight head on. Nowhere to hide or avoid the attacks of your enemy.

You can hide behind the pillar though. :P

Very fast and intense fight. Good for a short match. This map can only contain a maximum of 8 players, 4 on each time.

The last map, Ghoul mode!

This map is totally different from the others. In this map, your weapon will transform into a range weapon no matter what your job class is.

Among all the players, some of you will transform into Ghouls while some remain as humans. Your job as a ghoul is to kill and transform as many humans possible into ghouls while your job as a human is to kill as many ghouls and prevent yourself from being turned into one.

This map is good for those players who seek fun, laughter and excitement. :)

When you transform into a Ghoul, you will have various skills to execute on the human. Try all the different ones for different playing styles. :D

In this huge map, there are many small little spaces or corners for you to hide. Be sure to hide when you are a human and pray that the ghouls won’t find you. XD

Ok right now I shall explain on the Ladder Mode.

Basically Ladder Mode is the only mode where players can fight against one another where your weapons and equipments stats take effect. There are 2 types of ladder mode in the game at the moment.

I shall explain the first one firist, 1:1, where you can fight a player one on one.

Once you click on the 1:1 tab for the first time, this menu will appear. You can access to many informations here.

  • Your win/lose rate and percentage,
  • winning/losing streak,
  • ladder points
  • Easy Mark, the player whom you always win against
  • Nemesis, the player whom you always lose against
  • Rating, the more your rating is, the higher the chance for you to be on higher ranking.

The segment in yellow bracket is showing all the players in ongoing matches. You can choose to “Spectate”.

In order to start, click on the 1:1 tab and there will be an estimated time on when you will find a challenger.

Once you try out at least a match with any players, a new information will appear. Your win/lose streak with any classes. This way you can gauge your weakness or strength against certain class.

As for 3:3, everything will be the same just that you will need to invite your friends, guild mates in order to start the game.:D

*Ladder points will only start to accumulate after 10 matches. Ladder points will reset every Saturday and can be exchanged for items at the lobby.
