Intro to Master/Apprentice System

Since many of you were wondering what the new Master and Apprentice System was about, I decided to write a quick little guide for you guys.

Introduction

The Master and Apprentice system created for level 40 players to help players that are level 30 and below in leveling up, as well as to encourage players to make new friends through this system.

Advantages of the System

An apprentice gains +10% bonus EXP when he parties with one of his Masters. This is further amplified when he parties up with all 3 of his Masters, giving a +30% bonus EXP.

Both the Master and Apprentice receive different random rewards every time the Apprentice attains certain levels.

The Master/Apprentice Menu

To access the menu, press “o” on your keyboard to open  up the Community menu, then select the Apprenticeship tab.

Here, you’ll be able to see a list of Masters who advertised.

If you find a Master that you’d like tutelage from, select his name from the list and click on “Master Request”. Once the other party has accepted your request, you will be able to view your new Master’s details in your Master and Apprentice list.

Tip: Choose a master of your class, that way you can potentially gain more information about the class that you are playing.

Apart from looking at the posted advertisements, you may also request to be an Apprentice of a level 40 player by left clicking on the character and selecting the last option “Apprenticeship Request”.

Additional Information

  • Only Level 40 players may be Masters
  • Only Level 10-30 players may be Apprentices
  • Apprentices who reach Level 40 will automatically graduate and will no longer be one
  • Masters may not expel their Apprentices for the 1st 24 Hours - Vice versa for Apprentices and their Masters
  • Apprentices are able to use a “Summon Master” function that is located on the Apprenticeship tab. This summons their Master to their map. Really useful!

That’s all for my short introduction. I will be posting a more in-depth guide with more details soon, so keep an eye out for it! :D
