Master & Apprentice system Part 2

In a previous post I gave a quick introduction on this new system. In this post, I’ll be carrying on where I left off with more information about the system.

I have shown you guys how to be an Apprentice. Now I’m going to show you guys 2 simple steps on how to be a Master.

First you have to be level 40.

Press “O” which opens up the community menu and click on the “Apprenticeship” tab. Next click on “Share Introduction” and type in a short introduction to advertise yourself.

Once you’re done, the menu will look like the picture above. The highlighted part can be seen by all the players that are searching for a Master.

*You may also request a player to be your Apprentice by clicking on a player below level 30 and selecting the “Master Request” option.

Master Benefits

  • ABP will not be consumed when you are going to a dungeon with your Apprentice.
  • Equipment durability will not decrease when you are going to a dungeon with your Apprentice.
  • Masters receive random jewels as gifts when their Apprentices reaches certain levels. (Eg; Rough Obsidian, Rough Diamond, Ordinary Ruby)
  • You will also get new titles for having 100 and 300 Apprentices respectively. (Waiting to be confirmed.)

Respect Points

Masters receive Respect Points each time they help their Apprentice run a dungeon. With more Respect Points, you will have a better reputation for yourself to easily get other Apprentices.

*Masters lose Respect Points if they dismiss their Apprentices. Points aren’t lost  when Apprentices leave by themselves.

Apprentice Benefits

  • Apprentices receive various Accessories as they level up.
  • As mentioned in the previous post, while running a dungeon, you will receive 10% more EXP per Master in the party. You will also gain 5% more EXP for each of your fellow Apprentices that are in the same party while running the dungeon.
  • Upon reaching level 40, your status will change from an Apprentice to an Alumni and you may now become a Master and get your own Apprentices too! :)
  • Challenge the tough Abyss dungeons and quests with higher levelled Masters.
  • Get tips and advice from more experienced Masters. (If possible, you should always try choose a Master of your own class for more relevance.)

*Apprentices will receive Accessories at levels 10,15,20,25, and at level 40 you will receive your Graduation Accessory. Below are the examples of the Accessories I received from the Master & Apprentice System at various levels.

Benefits of Master/Apprentice in Abyss Mode

  • You will have a very high chance of getting a dimensional key when partying with an Apprentice with the level of 16-24.
  • Abyss bosses gives an even greater chance for dimensional keys when you are in a Master & Apprentice party.

  • With a dimensional key in your inventory, you can get Dimensional Gems that can be exchanged for skill pouches at Heraldry Shop.

  • With the key you will also have the chance to get “Epic” plates if you happen to come across the rare Gold Bunny.
