Woah! Time flies, it has been a week since the first day of lunar new year already. Well for this year’s Lunar New Year I went back to my hometown Indonesia 2 days before Lunar New Year’s eve. It has been a long time since I went back so early.

Usually I will be back only during the first day and if I’m lucky, I will manage to rush back right on the New Year’s Eve itself to have a reunion dinner with my family. :)

All this photos are taken at the top level of my house in Indonesia, how is it? Very different from Singapore isn’t it? 

Life is simple here.

Anyway, like usual, went back to company my parents and then do all the old tradition thingy like praying on the New Year’s Eve to the ancestor and stuff.

At night, there will be many people around my neighbourhood releasing all the fireworks in the night sky.

All of the neighbours bought the fireworks from a supplier anyway. It’s more like a mini scale fireworks that are affordable even to the normal people there. 

They are beautiful isn’t it?

There are nothing much to do at my hometown so usually at night, the people will go out to visit their relatives with their friends or loved ones. Look at how busy is the street that night.

That night at 12AM my dad even light up the firecrackers he bought to celebrate the start of Lunar New Year. LOL XD
